The School Heiarchy

EDIT:Due to SP, obviously schools can't hold their kids over a certain time. So... changing the topic. Let's say in all possible ****, we have maybe 20 students hidden up in the teacher's lounge, with zack all around them. Now these kids are all different, sports jocks, nerds, not so athletic, etc. Now, basically what I want to see here is what will happen. There are no windows, and food is slowly running out. We've taught our kids many things. But how will they use that knowledge? How will they survive? Who will take leader? What kind of conflicts will take place? Will they have the skill to get out? Who will do what? 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

"Cont.I can understand why in a zombie situation you would have an "us against them" mindset.... But for the love of god the US should include the teachers and security guards, and the THEM should be the things trying to eat you. Seriously. Just because you think your awesome doesn't mean you are. If you truly have some retired war vets, you should listen to what they say and take orders from someone capable of growing facial hair. Also.... Its BEER belly not bear. Do you find this valuable? |

I'm talking about how students might organise themselves and how they would function, not a bunch of kids running around acting cool. I wanted to know what you think students can accomplish these days. Thanks for pointing out the typo. And please, don't insult me. Do you find this valuable? |

"Uh...anyone with sense would abandon the situation. I don't think many kids would remain locked down for more than the school day. Personally, i WOULD leave when that final bell rang. And i really wouldn't care if there was a shooter on campus or not (to elaborate, we once had a threat of a gang war at the school, i shot the breeze with the local PD tht came down with their personal rifles.. hilarious) Do you find this valuable? |

They're most likely all going to die. In a situation where you have essentially zero weapons, a **** ton of zombies around you and one exit, which is blocked by said **** ton of zombies, anyone would be hard pressed to survive. Much less a bunch of kids, who are more likely to be arguing amongst themselves and doing retarded ****. Basing this on the kids at my school.Unless outside help comes, you can safely assume most of them and likely all of them are going to die. No one would be able to become an effective leader, because the other boys would argue with them because they think they're badass and all that. You might have a few rational people, but the jocks would be retarded once again and prevent any progress. No they won't have the skill to get out, because retards would drag them down. Like above, most likely outcome? You have 20 dead kids. Do you find this valuable? |

my zombie plan involves my old high school seen as it has 2 fences, the outter fence being designed to be particually difficult to climb over. so the fact that there would be any zombies in there amazes me lol but if z-day came while i was at school and i was stuck with a bunch of ass hats i would take leadership and work ou what the weaknesses and stengths of the different people were, like the jocks could be good at heavy lifting and manual work so i would put them on barracading the area. the nerds i would put them on working out a long term plan and plans for different senario's. while any one else who doesnt have a useful skill such as first aid training and such i would put on scavenging duty to find food and water and any useful items we could use.

If the teachers lounge had ventilation ducts large enough for people to fit through, that maybe an escape route. Otherwise in the situation you've presented, they will die.

As far as your plan, what makes so sure that you're going to be the leader? Or that there aren't going to be any adults around? Do you find this valuable? |

"simply because people were i come from are kinda retarded, plus the school is getting closed down and getting reopened as a training thing for siemens. so yeh it wont get used as a community evac point, and i dont think in a zompie apocalyspe people are want to still do there training are they. if anything ill be on my own with a few friends, if that. "Uh...Didn't mean to come off too condescending, I just thought it was really strange that you were talking about how the students were going to be against the teachers. You literally said that you would be fighting them. "900 kids vs. about 80 old, tired, wary staff. It's obvious who wins." Do you find this valuable? |

I'd be the not-so-athletic guy. I'm kind of small too... Well, I would grab a broom (plenty in our teacher's lounge) and bash the air conditioning vent open, which, one of the vents leads to one that to the gymnasium, where I'd walk out. I'd climb through there trying to find the one that leads there. Or die trying. Which is likely... But it'd be worth a shot.
