Apr 17 2011, 3:25 PM EDT
what if they mutate i mean really they could mutate themselves to run faster to smell better to hear better see better you would be screwed. if their stronger the could destroy your barricade and if their stronger it mould be harder to kill them too.
Do you find this valuable?

Well yes if they mutated into stronger forms, with enhanced physical capabilites we'd be screwed. The chances of that happening though are highly unlikely, and there's not much you can do to prepare against that, so there's no point in worrying about it. Either it happens and you can't do **** to them or it doesn't. Try to fix up your typing so it's easier to read, and don't double post. That's what the edit button is there for. It's really hard to mutate a human body without the whole creature getting all.... Disfigured and immobile. For that reason it is very very unlikely.

Mutation is a failed Evolution I was always told. And Evolution is to adapt to the environment. So, in theory its possible. I have a feeling they may die before then. Most likely from killing each other from Starvation. Do you find this valuable? |

I find a lot of these "what if zombie" things a bit pointless. Like that one thread someone did with the zombie king. I mean, I could go "zombie flies" and 99% of our plans would be bollocks at that point. We will generally do the best we can, see what works and doesn't work, and hopefully adapt. If we don't, we die. If we do, they die (hopefully.) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"plans would be bollocks at that point. So you are English? Yeah, I don't see very many reasons why mutation would happen. Do you find this valuable? |

Hello! I'm going to inform you about mutation. It is a sudden and permanent change in an organism's DNA. That being said, there are almost no mutations that would be beneficial, and absolutely none that would make a person or zombie immediately become the size of your refridgerator, and maybe you should stop watching the X-Men.Just my 2c Do you find this valuable? |

The disease would have to be able to do it, and adding the fact that the hosts are dead, well... I don't think it's likely, but if they do, well, what if? :D

The possibility of the kind of mutation happening is indistinguishable from zero.
