head towards Tybee, long bridge by any means possible and create a rope bridge tied to the unsafe side, and connected to the safe side by fishing line, which can be used to pull the rope up if survivors are spotted on the other side. if Tybee becomes too infected fall back into Ft. Pulaski which has a moat and drawbridge, enough land to farm for a small comunity, fresh fish (moat connected to ocean) distillable water (cooking supplies on display) and has a park ranger station hich should have some sort of radio.

Why not St. Simon's Island or Jekyll Island?? You'd only have to keep a lookout party on the bridge and besides that you'd be good...
