Haven't killed before so I don't know.

Not too eager to find out neither.

Since it hasn't happened, I can't say.

I like to think I can do anything I put my mind to. But, as Carn said, I don't want to find out.

way to break the ice.

I haven't killed anyone before. It's possible in my line of work it may happen. Would I be able to handle it? I think initially with the adrenaline pumping it wouldn't effect me. However afterwards is the part I believe i'd have to worry about.

i think in most situations it would happen really fast so you wouldnt have time to think about it. it would be much harder to watch someone through the crosshairs of a scope and pull the trigger though. Do you find this valuable?

Very true. Anyone in the heat of the moment is capable of doing any number if horrible and at times irrational things.

But if you have time to think things can make you hesitate.

Thing is that for me personally I'm not certain that's bad.

Yeah sure if your consience keeps you from doing something when it's needed then it's kinda bad but at the same time I'd be worried if someone was able to just do that kind of thing with no emotional twinge.

I suggest you read a book called "on killing". It studies throughout time which percentage of soldiers starting from WW1 to present day would actually shoot to kill or shoot at all. You'd be suprised how many in WW2 did not shoot to kill compared to vietnam or iraq.

The theory is that it's desensitization and much more training. Think of your enemy as a target and not as a person, let it be a gut reaction and muscle memory.

I like to think that if my life or the life of my loved ones depended on it that I could do whatever it takes to protect them.
I've never been in the situation though, so I don't know. I thought there was a likely hood I was going to be in the situation, but things turned out okay and I haven't been in that kind of situation since.
As Carnack said, if it ever does happen it will most likely happen so fast I won't have to time think about it.
I hope I never have to find out though.

I've yet to kill anyone in my short life, and honestly, I'm not sure I can end someone else's life like that. if it comes down to a "heat of the moment" thing, i'd probably be able to, by basic instinct, but killing someone, with a gun from a window, or simply by throwing the first strike in a confrontation...well, it'll take a lot to push me to that. Of course, for all I know, it'll be easier for me, or it might simply be impossible... I've never been in the situation before, so there is no way to judge. Do you find this valuable?

well I'm a Schizoid, very anti social, and also very Narcissistic, and very very mad.So you ask whether or not i could kill someone i wouldn't be surprised.

when I'm older i want to be a Marksmen, tank commander, engineer, or a paratrooper in the military.

Who said that id be in a group? I'm going it alone as a nomad then a fishermen. so i don't have to care what others think i would rarely go in contact with people except maybe to trade. I'm pretty sure smoked fish would be in decent demand.
