UtahZombieSurvival's Plan

(Assuming I'm at Home) The moment I hear about the Zombie Outbreak I will be on the radio in my office. From there I will contact ZRS Command. I will give them all the details I have (assuming I'm one of the first to know.) From there I will then contact local ZRS members and give them the go-ahead to execute the main plans. From there I will start to fortify my home. The backyards gate will be barricaded tight. The lower windows will be covered and locked. The front door will be welded closed and the upper windows will be opened and set up for gunner and watchman positions. During this time (assuming they havn't died or the outbreak didn't happen in the immediate area) Close members will make their way to my area with their supplies. They will be helped in through a window or the back fence and the command post can be set up. Once my home/post has been secured we will radio in to ZRS command saying we have finished securing the area. Then we will wait 3 days. On the third day we will gather teams and shifts to make our way to local parks for gathering and locating other survivors. My home will be arranged in a way to give medical attention. Each member of my team is trained in basic and advanced First Aid. Along with various forms of other medical attention. Radio Contact will be kept with other posts and with ZRS Command. After the first search party. Rescue Crews will go out once every 2 weeks. They will also slowly re-secure areas of the neighborhood. In the rare event of a breach. Or if the area I'm in is a heavy hot zone. Evacuation Procedures will be made to form a convoy and head into the mountains where we have a preset long-term camping location set out. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Right, First off, please can you break your post into paragraphs, just makes it easier to read :D

So Barricading your house, good, good.

Tell your close members who are going to make their way towards your house, to stay put where they are for a while till the Panic dies down. Implying that it is happening in your area.

I hope you have enough food and water to last you a while. Don't forget bedding and other essentials.

You should also wait longer than three days, may give Zeds some time to disperse.

Moving teams to a park isn't necessarily a good idea, while wanting to help out survivors is good, I would concentrate more on gathering the dwindling supplies, anyone I come across that is friendly? Come aboard!

Also very good that everyone in your group is trained with basic First-Aid.

Sending out Rescue crews isn't something you should start doing until you have a stable supply of food and water, and you can expend the manpower, firearms, ammunition, food and water, to go out and gather survivors to bolster you own community.

Re-securing areas of the neighbourhood. I'd assume that means taking the houses next to yours and utilizing them for your communities own ends, which is good, just make sure our neighbours didn't get crafty and booby-trap the door or something.

Very good you have a Plan B, and while a convoy isn't the best solution to surviving an apocalypse, atleast it's only a temporary endeavor. Hope everyone has camping equipment ;)

Suggests consider your time scales, "will go out once every 2 weeks" That's a long time to be cooped up unless you can keep busy.
