LJ's BOB

I like your BOB, it shows that a person can buy everything they need for a large store, in one trip or a piece at a time. It has caused me to rethink and reconstruct my BOB to cut down on the stuff, and the weight. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Indeed, most of my purchases were made at Walmart or other local department stores. The rest of my gear is off the internet for cheap. I think disregarding guns, there's less than $200 in this kit. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

most of the "TACTI-COOL" equipment you see in peoples BOB are bullsh-t. after watching dave canterburys videos and bushcraft on fires videos on youtube, i have a completely different outlook on BOB and survivalism.

you need a good knife, some firestarter(lighter matching flint), light, food, and water. there are lots of other useful things to put in a BOB but none of them are expensive.

a BOB isnt for running into the woods and fighting the soviets red dawn style, and dodging black helicopters. a BOB is a "get you to where you need to be bag_" (GYTWYNTBB) lmao. so if you are at work and an earthquake happens and you have to travel on foot, you BOB will have everything you need until you GYTWYNTBB, say uncle mikes or home etc
