So as the title insinuates this is another only one thread, but im not asking about guns or melee weapons if you could only have/make one jacket to wear what sort of characteristics would it have what would it be made of and why? Do you find this valuable?

Leather.

It will keep me warm, its not overly heavy, and it provides a little protection.
I'll be in a leather bomber...Oh yea last but not least, I make leather look good.

Awwwww! What a cute avie! =^_^=

Hmm... lets see... =*_*= I get the feeling that as a melee specialist I'd end up going through tons of clothes. It may be best to not get too attached...

I'd want something that I could wear around my waist comfortably during the day then put on when it got colder. That's what I usually do nowadays. =^_^= 'course nowadays I prefer loose jackets that catch the wind and flap... that wouldn't be good at all if zombies were running around =*_*=

Relatively tight fitting.

To keep me warm I would say a nice FOX jacket.

Really now, probably a leather biker or pilot jacket would be my first choices followed by a good Carhartt.

My M65 field jacket. It has enough pockets to hold all of my stuff. It's also sufficiently warm, and down right comfy when you add a winter liner or second warm layer under it. Mine's poly/co so it's a comfortable material, but it dries fast.
It's held up to years of field use from my hunting trips.
Just my personal favorite jacket.

Going to have to go with ODB here and I would likely go with my Alpha Industries M65. I haven't owned it very long, but it's been great for cold mornings at the range. May not be as stylish as some might like, but it's one of three jackets that I own. I'm not taking the leather, and somehow I don't think a mid-length duster is going to cut it.
