Deadsilence1's Survival Plan.

first signs of outbreak---
Go to my primary BOL. abandoned farmhouse with a 5ft perimiter wall. and has metal shutters on windows. take my BOB with aswell. i will fortify this location as there are wooden planks and corregated iron lying around and various tools.

im too late and panic is already outside my door--

i live close to the nothe fort.(BOL2)it its a large fort turned into a museum so there is no military prescence there. it has a large gate and portcullis, nuclear bunker and 20m high perimiter walls.(but i dont think it is feasible to get in easily without a ladder as the gate is usually locked.)

everyone knows of the outbreak/SHTF event. ---

there is a cadet training centre (SCTC Weymouth) 120ish metres from my home. it has a firing range with .22 Rifles and SA80s.(5.56x45mm NATO) i know it well and it already has bars on the windows and sturdy fences and walls.it also has a military stores with 3 pallets of 24hr MOD Ration Packs. and multiple jerrycans, bergens, daypacks, webbing and anything you would expect in a british army stores.
this is my preffered BOL. there is also an evac point nearby(on ZSDW evac points-weymouth and jurassic coast).

please give constructive criticism and advice thanks:)

Tips to make this plan more comprehensive:
1) use the answers to these questions
How long does it take to get to your BOL?
How will you get there?
what supplies do you have at the BOL (farmhouse)?
What supplies will you bring with you?
How will you acquire food for yourself (growing food, hunting, etc.)?
Where will you get water?
what (additional) defenses will you set up?
Will you accept refugees/fellow survivors (and how if yes)?

2) Organization: Maybe you could use subheadings to keep it organized: For example, subheadings: choosing the BOL (from the three you have selected), getting there, etc. This will keep it more organized and allow easier flow of details so you know exactly what the plan for each possible BOL entails.

That's about all I can think of.
Hope it helps.

Firstly you mentioned your BOL is an abandoned Farmhouse, implying you don't own if. IF you do own it then just ignore this part, but someone could buy that land and turn it into whatever they like, there is a perfectly good BOL gone.

Going to that Museum or Cadet training centre is a bad Idea, the Museum due to the fact that the way you described it makes it seem like a castle, I would presume alot of people would flock to it due to the fact that it seems defensible.

The Cadet Training Centre, unless you are in the military, chances are you may be denied access as the military would probably have a presence there, if you are in the military, then heading over could be a viable option.

Also Do you have any plans for sustainability? Any idea how to get food or water. Getting into fishing would be easy and could provide a nice supply of food, if you could acquire a rifle (Implying you are in Britain) before an apocalypse and maybe go Game-shooting, that will provide valuable experience post-Apoc.

A phrase that generally flies around when new plans arrive is "If you don't have it Pre-SHTF, then don't expect to get it afterwards", meaning the chance of getting those guns you mentioned will probably be slim. If you can go buy some MRE's and stockpile them, maybe get into sword-fighting or something.

I could think of more, after I had some lunch!
