id find the highest area possible if such a thing did happen, a spot on top of a large building with a one way stairwell to the roof would be perfect. my group of survivors would surely be big enough to watch the one entrance way plus my family in all has 9 guns and plenty of ammunition and blunt objects. wed get through it for a while. probably not over a year or a year and a half though if we stayed in one location for too long mostly because of a food shortage

How does that work? Stairwells I have seen go both ways, they go pu if your at the bottom, they go down if your at the top..... Also problem with one entrance/exit, if its hard to get in, its also hard to get out... How much food will your group need for a year and a half up there? What about water? what about sewage disposal? Do you find this valuable? |

Just to play devils advocate, he probably means a stairwell blocked by a fire door or the like that can only be opened from one side.Aside from that, though, I too would like to know how he plans to feed that many people on top of one building for twelve to eighteen months. And also how he plans to get them out at the end of that time, because by then the zombies will have no doubt gathered by the hundreds and surrounded the base of his ivory tower, making escape problematic at best. Do you find this valuable? |
