My Book
Jul 30 2011, 4:57 PM EDT
I am writing a zombie story. It will not be featured on this site for fear of plagerism, but you guys can be characters. Post here a realistic name, an occupation pre Z-Day, and any other necessary information (weapons of choice, etc.) Note that this has to resemble the real world, so you can't be a used car salesman and have an Arctic Warfare sniper rifle and an FN SCAR. Also post what kind of area you live in and what you do when the zombies come. BE REALISTIC. The zombies are living ragers. Keep that in mind. I'll let you know if I think something is wrong with your character (not being realistic or something). I will request a lock when I have enough characters. Do you find this valuable?

What site will it be posted on? And can you link any of your work? No offense, but if you're asking for characters you're going to use, I'd like to know what caliber of writer you are. I've done this before - but then again, the entire fic was posted on the ZSDW. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Okay guys. It's not a website fiction, it'll be an actual book I hope to have officially published. If you'd like a sample of the book I'd be more than happy to post it here in this thread. Maybe tomorrow. As for my caliber, I'm unpublished, but very serious, and I have a number of incomplete projects I intend to return to. I have wanted to write a zombie novel for years, and I figured this would help. I mostly write young adult stuff, fantasy, inculding some historically accurate stuff and such. Zombies aren't my main career focus, more of a sideline project. Anyway, I'll post the beginning of the book (probably) here in the next couple days. Do you find this valuable? |

You don't have to post the actual book here, because wetpaint has crap copyright laws, I'd post a *link* to somewhere it is safe to post though.

Also if you are doing this it would be nice to know just how in depth of a description you are looking for. I could go as in depth as you like or keep it fairly simple its your choice.

Yeah I'm still planning on doing it. As for the depth of the description, keep it about medium. I don't really know specifically what I'm looking for as far as that goes.
