How is this page? I have a few more planned out, but I want to see how this one is first. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

It would be good to see the poisonous lookalikes next to the edible ones, with tips on how to spot the difference. Edible plant books kill people each year because the readers mistakenly eat poisonous plants. Do you find this valuable?

"Where is it?"
You see above the words "Discussion: My First Page as a Writer - Read it and Rate it, please"?
Where it says location. That is where this thread is located.

Usually it says "null," meaning it's not attached to anything. However, since this thread is attached to my page, it says "Location: Edible Plants On-the-Go." Just click on that and it'll take you straight there.

Nice page - want more! :)

More on cattails: there's something useful all year round. The pollen is edible, young shoots make a good salad, as noted, the tuber is edible, raw or cooked tastes like potato with texture like onion. But, you can harvest starch by shredding the tuber and drying it - use it as a thickener in stew or whatever. Finally, the fluff makes great tinder(I know its not food, but, it sure helps cook it!) Don't overharvest! You'll want at lot of these around! Did I mention the shafts were used for arrows? Damn handy plant.

That reminds me. Wild tomatoes and many potato-like plants are often extremely poisonous.

I'll add that to the page in v3.0; It's some good info.
