ZSDW Kickstarter idea

I was thinking we could set up a Kickstarter to set up a zombie fortress. The first phase people would donate to buy the land the second stage would buy the wall. The third would be buildings. The fourth would be generating farming and water. People who donated would get swag like shirts abduct and an admission ticket. It would work because in a panic very few would show as they were already dead or in the chaos had forgotten that donation they made years ago. Thus the ZSDW would have a physical base and clubhouse. For location I suggest TN due to lush land, lax gun laws, few people, and cheap land.

I don't think it will either, how are we going to pay property taxes on land, let alone pay for buildings. I'd throw money at it though if it was properly set up.

Feel free to start a kickstarter account for us and see if anyone is willing to donate the thousands of dollars necessary to buy land, build a "fortress" and run a farm.

Whilst the mutliple stage idea makes sense, you haven't given any figures. How much land in acres? Because you won't get hundreds of people donating for a BOL that can only hold ten people. Do you find this valuable? |

If we were really serious about establishing a fortress, the first question would be WHERE to set it up...since different states/countries have different property tax rates, some places it will be cheaper to get land. Next would be how much land to get, and that depends on how many people you're trying to support. Do you find this valuable? |

Let's get Bill Gates to join the ZSDW, then we could have tons of bases. A base would be cool, but expensive. Do you find this valuable? |

There's no way I could put in right now because I am buying a house in Southern Illinois with 30 acres of woods, 50 acres of farm land, a river flowing through it, 3 barns, and a two story house. It's costing me over $1.3 million cash for everything and some construction that I want done. I wouldn't have the cash except for selling my two trailers and barn on 6 township lots, my pole barn, 4 fully restored antique tractors, and both of my fully restored steam engines. That and I sold my stock portfolio, mainly Apple, General Electric, and Mobile oil. It will only leave me a little to start a new collection and have two semi trucks of "stuff" down, and of course having them load and unload them. Hillbilly land bound. Do you find this valuable? |
