my own similar kit

I also carry something similar to this kit. Mine is still in the making but it is in two parts held together in a water proof bag ( not ziplock). The first compartment is a round tin ( that formerly housed some cherry cough lollies), this tin holds almost identical gear to your pocket survival kit. Second is the shelter part which has a ponch ( if i can fit it i will replace this with a thin tarp) and a milar blanket. Some small things in the bag include a medical kit with some gauze pads and some allergy tablets, a streamlight stylus pro ( because it is the perfect size for my kit) and a small campin stove that takes fuel tablets which i can use with my tin to boil about 180ml of water. Also lastly since i cant fit a water bottle i carry a collapsable platipus which holds about a litre. The kit is only a last resort/ slash backup. Do you find this valuable?

How much space does this take up? It sounds like quite a bulky ordeal.

I made one of these, it was cool but it's not made to contain many luxuries like a poncho and whatnot.
