Masada. An ancient fortress on a high plateau.
Nov 3 2011, 12:15 AM EDT
I believe this is a location where ancient man could have held out against the undead. It's in Irael and it has a water source and ample area for gardening. It's high up with extremely limited, easy to defend access. Over 900 people where able to hold out up there against an entitre Roman legion for an extended period of time. With modern upgrades and adequate supplies, Israeli Defense Forces could easily hold out against a Zombie outbreak, and probably be able to protect hundreds of civilians as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masada

There are pl;aces like this in Burma, Thialand, China, France, Germany, UK, Norway, Sweden, Yugoslavia, Greece, Italy, ect. Almost everywhere has a similar style old castle, fortress, or outpost that would be ideal hold out in a Zed outbreak. Islands and such in large fast rivers would also be great. There is a place on the river near St Louis. Looks big enough to hold 30 or more people but it would mainly be a fortress style place. Have to fish and then scavange hunt for other stuff. But ya a good place Do you find this valuable? |

I'm sure there are plenty of places in Palestine where you could hole up, there are plenty of survival examples of defences around that area.
