Location: There is a school called Captain Shreve Latitude: 32.448059 Longitude: -93.712502 On the stretch of E. Kings Hwy between E. 70th & Southfield

Instructions: There will be a sign in front of the school with full instructions. The school is a fallout shelter and as soon as my BOL is secured I will secure the school. All doors but the front right will be locked. After entering I will have a few non-perishable provisions in the cafeteria.

Time: Sunset. At least every 3 days. If someone doesn't come within 3 days we're dead.

I will have a group digging in close by. Anyone planning to meet us is encouraged to join us. We'll be using a majority vote system to elect a leader although an overall plan has been decided.

For most cases I would agree completely but I chose this particular school for a reason. When I was in High School I went around to all the schools and helped with electronics (computers, run sound, etc) and got an extensive tour of all of them.

Captain Shreve is a nuclear fallout shelter. All of the doors are heavy and have big locks on them. There are 6 doors from outside to the main facility. All first floor windows are to high off the ground to reach and to small to climb through. The grounds are completely fenced in except for the front of the school which is nice and open and easy to sit back and watch for any danger. Across the street there is a very large natural pond. There is also plenty of room to grow food on campus and a lowes near by.

I'm not saying it is a perfect location by any means but we are in the middle of everything and trying to leave is far more dangerous than digging in and waiting it out. I know the layout extremely well and clearing the school will take no more than a day. My favorite part of the school is that it is 3 floors and each one has a heavy barrier to lock the door from the stair well and is connected to an elevator that can get you from the 2nd -> 3rd floor in case of being over run with a ladder and from the 3rd floor you can get on the roof from which point you can climb onto the other buildings and escape with a BOB ready. 0  out of 1 found this valuable.
