Though I highly doubt this is serious...

Hereya go. It's already in .600 NE, and it's a revolver. All you need is $13000.

Or, I could just kick you in the wrist. It'd probably produce the same results.

You know, I once fired a revolver chambered for the 45-70. This is a good deal lighter round than the .600 Nitro.

Note I said ONCE fired, Damn near broke my wrist and had to wear a brace on it for a year..

You only think you want a pistol chambered for something like that.

What you really want is a short scout rifle. But what do you really need it chambered for?? You planning on, hunting dinosaurs.

Really most people CANNOT handle anything more powerful, accurately, Than a .357 mag in a pistol.

Now, You asked if someone could build you a "thunder .50 BMG handgun" chambered for an old forgotten round called the .600"

First off if its chambered for a .600 anything it is no longer a" .50 BMG " anything.

Also there were a number of .600 calibre cartridges, what one is it?

Now as an old semi retired Gunsmith I could build you a revolver to handle something that big. I would need a 75% retainer up front on the estimated cost, and would estimate it's cost at 20-25,000 dollars U.S. this of course could go up or down.

I would need from you $15,000 -$18,750 in cash up front, plus a copy of your FFL or the FFL of the dealer I would be shipping it too.
I would begin once all specs had been decided on and and payment recieved, and with my current work load would need about 2 years to complete it. Upon completion you would be notified and full payment of the balance would be expected in 10 days, before it would be shipped.

Um...

.50 BMG. 0.5 inches. Half an inch.
.600. 0.6 inches. Two thirds of an inch.

What you're asking for has a bigger cartridge.

It would still be possible, you just have to jump through the NFA hoops of red tape.

He still has to ship the frame of the revolver, which is the part that will require the tax stamp.
