Marking your map with important locations.

It occured to me a couple of weeks ago that I could get details of important locations now off the internet (before it dies), and save them to my computer, or possibly even print off a list as my computer might also die.The one that sprung to mind is *small* poultry breeders. There are thousands of them in the UK, where people have anything from 5 to 50 chickens. I'm guessing that these would only be known by the local people, or people who had passed by and seen a sign like "point of lay hens for sale". Farm shops would be a good target too, for trade hopefully. Another thing which occurs to me is finding out storage and distribution warehouses, and anywhere that might have weapons, such as armed response police stations, gunsmiths, armament factories, miltary bases etc. Although of course these are bound to be much more popular for looters/ aspiring traders. Any ideas on useful places which might not be immediately overrun and gutted in the panic? Do you think it would be wise for me to share my list of small chicken farms, or would this lead to them being targets for looters rather than traders? Do you find this valuable? |
