Alright, let's see....I have a mossberg 500 shotgun, and 31 shells for it. My sidearm is a colt M1911 in .45, with 1 magazine of hollowpoint bullets, and 2 "ordinary" magazines. All magazines have 8 shots in them. I have a KA-BAR utility knife and a high carbon machete. My food is made up of 4 MREs, in various flavours; 5 cans, 2 of tomato soup, 1 of baked beans, and 2 of custard; a 500ml bottle of purified water, and four 100-gallon filters; a 750ml bottle of bailey's irish cream; a 1L bottle of whisky; I have a 60 litre hiking backpack and a 20 litre holdall. I have a pair of salapets and a snowboard jacket, one scarf, a beanie hat, 3 pairs of waterproof hiking socks, 2 sets of underarmour elasticated thermal tops, one in medium (my size) and one in large. I have a pair of hiking boots in size 9, and a pair of trainers in the same size. I have an ipod touch and a solar charger for it. I have a basic medical kit (20m bandages, 2 sterile gauze pads, 4 safety pins, one fabric sling, and a single sterile hypodermic needle with a sterile syringe) in a plastic lunchbox. My books are: The first 3 gaunt's ghosts omnibuses (about 600-800 pages each), a pocket dictionary, an old scrapbook of sentimental value. I have a firestick and a small ball of steel wool. Finally, I have 3 packs of cards. Do you find this valuable? |

"Alright, here goes.personally i wouldnt use an AR-15 or any military models of it. it requires high maintenance compared to most other weapons. im prior marine and ive seen so many of those things jam and break just cause they didnt clean them after 2 days of firing, so like 200-500 rounds and you better start expecting some problems. only plus about them is accuracy. in my opinion tho. others may say differently Do you find this valuable? |

i would probably pack pretty heavy. and im also new to survival.22 long rifle (light ammo, easy to hunt with, at closer range less than 100-80ish yards it can penetrate skulls, and not too loud) . its a toss up between that and a larger hunting rifle for longer range like a 22-250. my sidearm would be a crossbow or compound bow due to the maneuverability of the .22 i would now have an alternative hunting weapon and silent killer if i need to be sneaky. weapon would be a very well built E-tool as you can sharpen the side and use as an axe or weapon as well as the many other functions. i would try to pack a pot of some sort to boil water as well as water filters and lots of dried foods and camping heaters and 2 gallons of water, oh, and power bars. idk how much water and all this weighs so im guessin about 25-30 pounds on just water and food with the stuff above. the clothes i would be wearing would be camouflage and would bring one extra set. so all together i think im getting close to 45-50 lbs? so far... i would bring a really good sleeping bag with a liner and a tarp to stay off wet ground flashlights (LED only for battery saving) and a few extra batteries 9V batteries and steel wool (start fires) radio (2-way) my laptop some sap gloves as well (lead lined gloves so ur punches have serious damage and ur knuckles and hands are protected) a mountain bike would be what i am gonna ride as it can easily outrun zombies of any type, its light and maneuverable so after all this i should be close to 85 lbs at the most i would say books: SERE training guide(super survival guide for military) anarchist cookbook (dont wanna sound creepy but theres some useful stuff in there) solar chargers for batteries and electronics, like radio and my computer i have to be close to 100lbs sry for length Do you find this valuable? |

".22 long rifle (light ammo, easy to hunt with, at closer range less than 100-80ish yards it can penetrate skulls, and not too loud)Solid reasoning on the rifle. I'm happy enough to just wear my clothes most of the time. After all, youre really f***ed if a zombie gets to you and you're in a sleeping bag. You're pretty much a meal in a resealable bag. I would miss the warmth and comfort though. Instead of the battery, you'd be better off with a way of starting fires that will last for a very very long time, such as my striking steel, or a steel and flint. Failing that, the fling from a good lighter will work well. the battery is a good way to start fires, but that steel wool will be gone very quickly, after which you have a 9 volt battery. Which doesn't do anything. The radio is an excellent choice. I would suggest it being wind-up to make it more useful when there is no electricity around. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sleeping in layers of warm clothes. If I sleep in my ski jacket, I can have my survival kit in the pockets, so even if I'm attacked, I will still have the basics. However, when in a safe location, a sleeping bag would be a godsend.

Because my survival plan involves my ATV, I'm going to assume I got to this carnival with it, and that I can take a lot. Alright, I have;Multiple Ipods, all with different genres of music. I have a solar charger I will let people use for FREE A break action pellet gun, good for teaching kids to shoot, practice shooting and small game hunting I also have instructions to make the pellet gun into a deadly weapon, which I will trade separately 1000's of rounds of 22. Maple syrup 150 days worth of Contacts A baseball bat with a large nail through it My body ;) Several novels My strategy is to start of with cheap trades to lure in customers, then to increase my prices as I go along. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Colt AR-15 .223 10 boxes ammoRuger .22 Pistol 2 bricks ammo Machete Dead On Annihilator (Multi Purpose Tool, Hammer, Demolition, Break-in, and Mean looking Melee weapon) Run of the mill BOB Folding knife Box Cutter with extra blades in handle 5 days water Canned Ravioli (Pull tab, no opener needed) Bagged bulk tobacco (Don't smoke, but will be good as gold and much lighter IMO) My Keurig (completely pointless without electricity, but I would probably grab it on my way out the door anyway) I'm not going to pretend i'm fully prepared, but then again if I had a better plan I'd probably be somewhere more thought out than a carnival. At least there is plenty of cover, high ground, and perimeter fencing. Anyone got any comfort food to trade for a keurig? Do you find this valuable? |
