"My advice would be to re list your items, but group them together i.e. instead of a huge list, split into sections such as "first aid", "food" and "weapons" etc. Makes it easier for us to analyse what you have.

As for your pack, be weary of the size of it. The more it can hold the more you'll be tempted to put in it. 30 - 40L IMO should be enough for a BOB. As for food, type in "Ration packs" and see what you get. Some are quite expensive but you can pick up old British Army 24 hr ones for about £7.00 - £10-00."

"SGT you are right a poncho is a great item for quick shelter. Trash bags can be used the same way. I wasnt suggesting a tent., merely that since the OP has tent pegs perhaps he has a tent also (not listed since it isnt IN the BOB?)

Im still torn as to whether Im going to have a tube tent with my BOB or something else. I have a 9'x12' tarp in my BOV. I think I want something more substantial in/on my BOB than just a poncho though. My jury is still out on it. They want more evidence on cost, weight, and bulk."
