Potable water and ammunition would be worth more than their weight in gold, as would firearms. Stock up now.In my opinion, the greatest commodity available to you for trade is your time, in the form of labor. Folks will pay top dollar for a strong back and good work ethic. You bust ass for someone and they will do their very best to take care of you as best they can. Do you find this valuable? |

Really? Labor isnt the best commodity available. Solar chargers and mechanics not to mention doctors. Things tha most people dont k.ow how to makr anymore. Soap medicines vehicle parts. Everything has some value but its only worth what u can get from it. Labor has value but not much to a group 500 strong with no extra work

That's true, provided there's a group of 500 with nothing to do. However, I pose that after the zombie apocalypse, there will probably be a WHOLE lot of work and not nearly enough human hands left to do it, as many will have died or become zombies... but that's just my assessment. Maybe I'm wrong.

Labor has value but not much to a group 500 strong with no extra work"Say you have a small group, which for awhile will be the norm. Now say you have a doctor, 2 male account execs, a waitress, a female model, 2 housewives, and yourself. No mechanics, no electricians, no gunsmiths.. I come ditty bopping down the road, just in time to see you hopelessly trying to install and wire a Solarpanel. Now being I have done this on my own property I have knowledge and labor to offer you... which is inherently more valuable at this point than having the solar panel. Or say you vehicle is busted, being I do my own repairs on my vehicles I have that knowledge and labor available. Or perhaps your only firearm is broken, Being a 30 +year Gunsmith My knowledge and labor is quite valuable... And for any job really, added labor is a plus. So really Knowledge, AND the labor involved in doing anything will be quite valuable. Do you find this valuable? |

Strong back and good work ethic vs. a ditty bopping electrician auto mechanic gunsmith. Its a clear choice to me. Also you wouldnt happen to live in south fl would you? Ps. What exactly is ditty bopping. Do you find this valuable? |

"Really? Labor isnt the best commodity available. "I disagree. The mitigation of the need for labour is accomplished by our technology. Without it, agriculture and manufacturing become seriously labour intensive activities. Do you find this valuable? |
