You have a great plan. Just one question. Where do you plan on getting the insulin for your child. Do you find this valuable?

You probably won't be able to unless you scavange a hospital or drug store and you won't be the only one competing. If you can change the child's diet to stave off the effects then this seems like the best option.

Other than this I can't see how the child wouldn't become a tragic statistic.

Well, there is research ongoing to make liquid insulin a thing of the past. For every diabetic's sake I hope that research is more advanced before a Zpoc comes along.

A main character in one of my favorite apocalyptic stories is a diabetic. He has a soliloquy where he muses about if the sanctuary will have sheep with which he could produce insulin. I always took it on faith that most any doctor could do this...until today.

As forward thinking as Kinelta is Im sure there is some sort of plan for the insulin.
