"Simply put, we should start to work on this, I'm currently gathering and compiling information for my home-region, Northern Ontario. But I would like a format to put it in properly. "I finished the main page a several weeks ago and have been gathering information on my spare time. I have information on Quebec (which I have already started placing on the page) and Southern Ontario (my home-region). My goal is for all the pages to be filled by the end of March. In terms of format, you are free to add to or substitute the headings I placed on the page (and all of the province pages). If you so choose, you could also add a link to your BOB and/or survival plan to show what people who actually live their (and thus know the area) have taken into consideration. Some possible additions could be: -Skills that would help you survive in the region -What to pack/helpful supplies and equipment Just remember that the main goal is to give someone with no knowledge of the region information on anything they would want to know if they planned to survive in the region. Wouldn't it be great if the Canada Survival guide was the first to be completed? :) Do you find this valuable? |

I've only just come across this thread, and the page to which it is attached, for the first time. I'm not gonna add anything just yet, but I'll keep an eye on it for now to see how some of the entries for the other provinces shape up. Then once I have an idea what they should look like, I'll add some info for Newfoundland and probably Nova Scotia as well.

Hey there I live in toronto and am willing to help, I have traveled all over Ontario and know the water ways very well and some of the local towns up north ( plan to bug out in the North, plenty of empty cotteges there if a zpoc happens lol) , What can I do to add to this forum and where do I add things :) Cheers Irish Do you find this valuable? |
