Reminder: The Walking Dead Season 2, Part 2 starts this Sunday - 2/12You know, I am always curious. Would you feel comfortable sleeping next to a potential zombie? WTF is a potential zombie? In the Walking Dead, everyone is infected by the zombie condition and healthy or people who seem healthy do sometimes die in their sleep. In which case, if your spouse or love one dies in their sleep and you didn't know about it, you could possibly have an extremely rude wake up call. There is a news anchor here in NC who worked out continuously and ate fairly good, however when he was doing a news story about 360 degree MRIs, it was discovered he was very close to having a catastrophic heart attack at age 37 and in reasonably apparent good health. If he would have died quietly in his sleep without his wife knowing in The Walking Dead, bad things could happen. So far, I have not seen any segregated or guarded sleeping together arrangements in The Walking Dead. I know I would if I knew that everyone has the zombie condition. Would you? Do you find this valuable?

"Reminder: The Walking Dead Season 2, Part 2 starts this Sunday - 2/12I dont know if they really alluded to that in the TV series or not. I know in the books they made it clear that everyone has it, the bites kill you. But no matter how you die you change. In the series the only time I can think that they hint at it is when Daryl and Andria ( or what ever the flock her name is) come upon the zed dangling in the tree. Obviously he was not a zed when he went for the swing. And Zeds dont seem to go for previously dead meat. So the implication is, he hung himself, died , then came back. Do you find this valuable? |

"I dont know if they really alluded to that in the TV series or not.I figured he hung himself after he was bit because he didn't want to be a zed. Didnt Daryl comment to something along those lines? Do you find this valuable? |

"I honestly dont remember, Only thing I can recall for sure is he made a comment about taking the cowards way out, and wanted to leave him swinging undead there. ( they are replaying a lot of the WD series this weekend so we can probably catch it.) Do you find this valuable? |

"Reminder: The Walking Dead Season 2, Part 2 starts this Sunday - 2/12Anyone can die spontaneously. Heard a story about a guy that got into a bad car wreck and months later turned his head too fast and a small fractured piece of vertebre severed his spinal column. Tragic, but these things happens. If group size allows, someone should be pulling watch at all times for zeds, raiders, natural disasters and those who are sleeping. If you're coupling up with someone, you still rotate shifts as best you can. If two members can sleep in a very secure location, fully zipped up sleeping bags could provide protection from someone just getting up and biting you. Hopefully your senses will be hightened enough to wake you up if something goes down. For me, loud music doesnt usually wake me up, but if I hear the springs in a door knob turn I snap awake. This might just be a reaction from combat experiance however. Do you find this valuable? |

Tragic, but these things happens.I would think if you were traveling with a companion or group watch duty in that given environment would be automatic. I think tho their "segregated" sleeping conditions was everyone had their own quarters or vehicle to bunk into for the night. Separate rooms in the CDC and during camp ppl had either their own cars or trailers to stay in. Also thanks for the reminder to set my dvr haha. Do you find this valuable? |

"I figured he hung himself after he was bit because he didn't want to be a zed. Didnt Daryl comment to something along those lines? "Pretty close to right on EE. The swinging dude had already been bitten, that was in his suicide note. Darryl was commenting on how stupid it was that he hung himself wrong and got his legs eaten off. The TV series seems to indicate the only thing to worry about is bites. They don't even make any fuss over scratches. They do seem to make a bit of an issue over zombie juice though. IE. Its ok to wear it as camo, but don't get any on your skin or in your orifices. I can not recall any victim that turned zombie just from becoming dead. Do you find this valuable? |
