"Thank you. Makes choosing a family vehicle somewhat problematic though. LOL

I want a vehicle with some off road capability, and one that can haul bulky cargo if need be. The trouble is that most vehicles meeting that description won't comfortably seat two adults and four children (only four as my oldest does not live with us), three of whom are still in car seats. The most likely vehicle to solve the seating problem is a minivan, but that would fly in the face of off road and cargo capabilities. D'oh!"
A thought on vehicles do you have any mechanical skills man? because i was thinking maybe one of those old school suburban from the 80's they're huge can haul and would be decent off road and easy to fix. You could even keep one arround just as a dedicated bug out vehicle the beasts are cheap enough. But i guess if you want an all in one why not just get a jeep with an offroad trailer for cargo hauling?

LOL... well, I can IDENTIFY a spark plug, though I do not guarantee that I would successfully be able to change one. My mechanical skills basically begin and end with skillfully finding someone else to do it.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. Test what job you'd be best suited for The best part is, we don't know what those numbers mean either lol. Think it's like percentage over base average or something.

Okay. An internal military acronym from a country that I don't even live in. In that case I don't feel so bad for not knowing that. LOL

Canada, currently in the province of Nova Scotia to be more precise. To my knowledge, Nova Scotia (or anywhere else in Atlantic Canada for that matter) is not known for either funny mustaches or fancy bread, and while we DO have an accent, I solemnly doubt that anyone would refer to it as sexy. LOL

"I agree with it being an issue, if the people were there willingly I wouldn't do much, if they were there by force, I would try a rescue mission, recce the area, see if the mission is do able"
I wouldn't. I'd just keep moving. Too bad for them, but I don't want to become a sex slave too.

If you deliberately choose to leave human beings to an inhuman rate, what's the point in surviving?

Now I can see choosing not to help and leaving others behind if you are, for instance, traveling with family members or other dependents who would otherwise be left defenseless if you were killed or captured. If you are traveling alone, though, or if your group has enough others to defend them, then there is no point in human survival if we have to sacrifice our humanity in the process.

If I were alone, I meant.

Wait a sec . . . you just said that if I were alone, I should attempt to bust a whole building full of sex slaves, who are undoubtedly armedly guarded (Engritch mutch?) - otherwise, they'd almost certainly escape - by my lonesome? If I didn't get shot, I'd definitely be raped for the rest of my life - probably brutally.

All in all, at least they're not being eaten by zombies. I'd just put down my binoculars, throw the tissues to the side (A sick attempt at humor, I know), and keep moving.

No, I didn't mean if you were alone, though it may have sounded that way. What I meant was if you didn't have noncombatants with you. If you ran across this scenario while out scavenging with some other (armed) members of your group, but your women, children and old folk were elsewhere, preferably back at base with other (armed) members of your group to look after them in case you are killed or captured. Better?
