A high speed rail system sounds great to most urbanites who really don't know how large the U.S really is, nor have any idea of the money involved. You would be looking at hundreds of trillions to get it off the ground and much more to actually get it in operation. Much of the old rail system in the US is long gone, simply was not economically viable. High speed rail is best where countries are small, and urban centers are close together, like Europe. At present our highway systems cannot be properly maintained. Where would the money come from? Raising taxes? All governments fail, the only variables are time, corruption and usefulness. We have long departed from a representative democracy and are very much a fledgling socialist state. What the government doesn't own, this insist upon controlling. It has never been in question if the government would fail, but when would it fail. If you look at the writings of the founding fathers you see that many had a disdain for government and insisted on checks and balances to keep the government at bay. Many of those checks and balances have been corrupted by those within the government. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Wyoming could use the aircraft carrier as a giant bunker, just think of the percentage of their population they could house in an aircraft carrier.

My family tells me it was put in to get support. And it was a decommissioned vessel for a museum. Oklahoma and other land locked states have naval vessels in their museums. So this isn't like most of you think. Typical though. As for speed rail. Nowhere in the world does it pay for itself. All are government financed and supported. Plus they would have to lay all new track. The old track have to many curves for slower trains that high speed couldn't take. Plus who in Wyoming besides the Elk and Antelope would use it? lmao pathetic Do you find this valuable? |

Wyoming has lots of natural gas and some if not the finest coal in the world. So tell me again how wasting money on alternative energy sources that aren't even financially viable is a good sound decision. It's not. It's only feel good energy. Wyoming is energy independent any time they want with the resources they have. Anything else is wasted money. Period Do you find this valuable? |

A state currency in case of doomsday sounds great. Hope everyone actually finds it of value.

Now they aren't doing it for Zombies or a Doomsday SHTF scenario. Because currency of any kind would be a worthless. It's meant for a collapse of the federal government be it from civil war, economic and strife. In any of those scenarios it could be valuable. Do you find this valuable? |

you know something i was thinking about moving to Wyoming when i grew older with its low population density i figured land would be relatively cheap and it would be very libertarionist. For some reason the fact that they tried to introduce this bill kinda makes me wanna move there even more. Any guys who have been there or live there can tell me about the place?

"Wyoming has lots of natural gas and some if not the finest coal in the world.Coal and gas power stations emit more radioactive products than a nuclear power plant. Were they inspected to the standards of any nuclear facility they would be shut down. Solar and wind are not viable because they cost a lot more in cash terms and in resources. They also have a large drag factor because they can't produce power all the time, and the cost of wiring them up doesn't work when the lines will spend two thirds of their life carrying nothing. LFTR nuclear plants would be great if people could be persuaded to build them. The problem is that fear of nuclear power is far greater than it really should be. Do you find this valuable? |

Oh I agree and Wyoming has uranium too. But don't have any plants. And building them would cost and take to long.Oh almost forgot Wyoming has some hydro power too Do you find this valuable? |
