Butcher's gloves.

Butchers wear chainmail gloves to prevent slicing their own hands. I think if you get a pair slightly larger than gloves you would usually buy and wear them on top of a pair of leather gloves, it should be quite comfortable and bite resistant. 7  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

I think that the leather gloves would be bite proof enough, not to mention lighter!
Depending on the thickness of the leather.
I don't really intend on tangling with the undead unless it is completely necessary. So these gloves wouldn't really benefit me, your mileage may vary of course.

This kind of glove is used for extra coarse chopping. That is to say meat cutting that does not require any dexterity. I have personal experience with these gloves. They are bulky and not terribly flexible. They are probably no more annoying than winter gloves. Certainly they are better than plate mail gloves. I think however, teaming them with another bulky glove inside/outside might be uncomfortable at best.
