"te mp5's mac's and other smg's should go on their own page. you should also add more civilain rifles and discribe their affectiveness against zombies"Noted. Unfortunately, because zombies don't exist yet we can't really discuss their effectiveness against them :3. Do you find this valuable? |

"zombies don't exist yet"WHAT!!!???!!!??? I agree with him, we can discuss their effectiveness against humans, therefore their theoretical effectiveness against zeds Also, "rifles" is the term for 2 handed, single projectile weapons, so sub guns won't get their own page Do you find this valuable? |

I had some difficulty deciding what to do with SMGs when I started adding them (I've done almost every gun you see on all the pages), but I figured that they went best with rifles because you're most likely to acquire them in the form of semi-automatic commercial versions. In retrospect, the MAC-10 would go better in handguns if not for its sheer size and the total length when the stock is used.As for effectiveness, I think that would be better suited by a whole new page discussing the effects of different weapons in detail. Along with firearms, this section would handle different types of blunt and blade damage to different parts of the body, fire, electricity, acids, poison, etc. I think we're lacking any sort of page detailing exactly what weapons do to the body in a realistic manner. Had a chat with some dudes in the ZSDW chat about it. I'd like to get started on it at some point after I get my blog article done. We'd definitely need people with medical training, however. Google only goes so far.

"I find that when black power is brought up people keep gettings smooth bore and rifled mixed. Not sure what can be done."It's a hard one, and unfortunately black powder is a subject so different from modern cartridge firearms that you can't really use most of your knowledge in writing about them. I made quick and dirty articles on black powder muzzleloaders and cap and ball revolvers, but they're not that good. I could really use someone who actually understands how to teach people about black powder firearms to fix them up. Do you find this valuable? |
