Because those numbers aren't real, that's why. Isn't it obvious? That equates to running at fifty-something MPH, which isn't humanly possible.

Also, how in the hell could someoby run something with one speed, and then run four times the distance with only twice the time?

EDIT: The only speed out of place is the 400m run, all the others are attainable. I have my doubts about the 100m sprint, but one second in a 100m is equivalent to a minute for a mile. He could've done it, it's just pretty darn fast.

nah, real competitors are fast, with persistant training anyone can have a 'good' time for a personal best, real competitors hit these times with consistancy. check out guys like carl lewis or micheal phelps, those guys are insane in theire ability. i have been training pretty much all my life and those are my personal bests, not the norm,

check you math again.

besides the number of fast runners is plentiful, the number of fast competitors isquite small.

anyone know there sitting heart rate? like right now?

i think he had a typo there, i think he meant 100m and 200m sprints, no one can run a 400m sprint in that time. get a grip.

"i'm 6'2" at 205 lbs at the moment.it may drop while i'm here due to the lack of regular gym time to maintain high muscle density. i typically push 5% to 8% body fat. lean muscle gets hard to maintain in stark field conditions where diet, irregular routines, lean conditioning, and other obligations interfere with muscle maintenance.

i really enjoy workouts using shuai-jiao excercises because of the range of motion and the all around muscular conditioning, it makes for a very thurough field exercise routine. and it can be completed in around 40 minutes.

max presses; bench 355 lbs, squat 440 lbs, dead lift 480 lbs, power clean 285 lbs

best times now; 100m sprint in 10.803 seconds, 400m sprint in 21.343 seconds, 1600 m run (1 mile) in 6 minutes 12 seconds, 3200m run in 12 minutes 54 seconds, 8000m run in 34 minutes 38 seconds, 200 m freestyle (swim) in 2 minutes 56 seconds, 400 m freestyle in 6 minutes 21 seconds, 1600 m freestyle in 34 minutes flat, 10 m free climb (anchored chain, 33 feet) in 9.800 seconds, 30m free climb in 35.779 seconds, and i can hold my breath underwater at 10m below sea level for 5 minutes and 8 seconds

64 push ups in 1 minute, 102 push ups in 2 minutes, 70 sit ups in 1 minute, 114 sit ups in 2 minutes, 25 single arm pull ups (feet up, chin ro bar), 56 full squats wearing 50 lbs pack

a lesson from history is that the better conditioned forces could more easily out maneuver the less well conditioned forces on the ground. in this day of high mobility through vehicular transport this lesson is often overlooked. but in those truely challenging terrains, like here, better fitness is better capability to move through terrain were LPCs (leather personell carriers) dominate. another tough on your feet terrain is equitorial rain forrests and swamps. "
shuai-jiao rocks. is modern, traditional, or the military style?

i like cross country running myself.

My sitting heart rate is 60 bpm, remarkable for having been a smoker for 25 years. Actually let me check it again, I've not had tobacco for 12 weeks now.

Averaged at 54 BPM. I am happy.

I'm same as Zee. My resting heart rate is 60 beats.

Also, I've been placing much more emphasis on stretching lately. It's something I used to do quite frequently but began to slack on. I try to stretch before and after my workouts, when I wake up and before I go to bed. Even if I can get in a couple minutes I feel better.

Uber said to check the math, so I presented the math for checking. Im sure he made a typo also. That aside, Uber your times are awesome. "Best" times are a good indication of average times, for which it seems you have some real talent.

RE: My exercise regimen for the past 20 years
- Walk 2 miles per day (avg 10 to 12 mi per week) which may include climbing ladders, walking inclines of up to 10/12 pitch (roofs), and sometimes ascending / rappelling.
- Portions of that may include loads of up to 90lbs. Depending on the job I may do 100 reps of 2.5 lbs per hour for as many as 6 hours (bricks), or perhaps 18 reps of 32lbs per hour for 6 hours(8 inch cinder blocks).
- Most days will have 800 reps (4 sets of 200) pushing variable weight (3 lbs to 8 lbs) over a vertical distance of 3 feet (chimney sweeping).
- On occasion I push 400 to 600 pound weights (wood stoves) as far as 3 feet against fricative surfaces.
- On the weekends I may or may not include a 2 mile hike with a 50lb pack (BOB).

About 16 weeks ago I found myself short of breath and my heart pounding after climbing a 12/12 roof. That gave me motivation to knock off the tobacco. It took 2 more weeks to find the Mistic e-Cig. No tobacco since then! I've cut down from 1.25 cartridge per day to just under 1 cartridge per day (1 c / 28 hours). This is exciting for me since every other damn method has failed me with 9 weeks being the former barrier.

I haven't been much into exercise in the sports kind of way. Once upon a time I was super limber. I've let that go badly. My back and neck retain most of the flexibility of my youth, but in general I need to do more. I still haven't gotten off my duff yet, but this thread is motivating me more.
