does any one know much about these particular firearms? Personally these are new to me and it was until a visit to one of my local shops that i was first introduced to one of the unique guns. It was a .22 with a high capacity internal magazine (100 rounds) that was completely compliant with New York Law (still operating under the assault weapons ban). Because of the fact that it was a detachable mag it was able to have a folding buttstock which is actually the first thing that caught my eye (Im aware of the fact that here in NY we are sheltered when it comes to guns). Ive done a little bit of reading in regards to these firearms but really havent found many solid reviews. I was wondering if any one had any information or opinions of them because as of right now im interested in the .22 at my local shop and the m950 which is the 9mm version. The one i held seem a little awkward but at the same time it was light weight and very compact and i believe that with a little practice I could give over any initial awkwardness. So please by all means share your thoughts id love to hear them. http://calicolightweaponsystems.com/home Do you find this valuable?

Really cool looking and innovative guns that I have considered buying (and I might still buy one). HOWEVER: 1. The magazines suck balls if they get even slightly dirty. (OK pre-SHTF, not so ok post) 2. Awful sights, impossible to mount any optics 3. You are not likely to find spare parts as they are not particularly popular. 4. In my experience they are flimsy, and might break under harsh use. 5. Company keeps going bankrupt. Might not even have parts available pre-SHTF. Do you find this valuable? |
