Just a tip here, Walls of Text really turn people off to reading through a post, grammar and punctuation are your friend.

Now, to the matter at hand. You're putting together a team to defend you're little part of the country, and you want volunteers to join you and help out? isn't that alot like a community watch?

And i know this is a site for general survival, but honestly, how many members that frequent the site are actually in your general area? Odds are, not very many. You may have better luck posting the idea on a bulletin board in a grocery store or something.

I'm not knocking the idea of getting a group together though, civil defense groups are probably going to be needed sooner or later, and having the opportunity to train combat skills without paying an arm and leg *cough* Costa *cough* would be nice.
