I've recently been buying parts of my ultimate BOB little by little and wanted a good pack of matches. long story short amazon.com had a sale on UCO stormproof matches 25 matches, 3 strikers, and a waterproof case for $1.99. Needless to say with a regular price being 6.99 for the matches alone, I jumped on it.

These matches are awesome! Once you get them started, they are near impossible to put out. I lit one off in my living room (I test out all my new gear) and couldn't put it out even by submerging it in water. I dropped it in a small cup of water, where it seemed to boil for about 10 seconds before going out. I'm not big into raving about a companies product, but if you're looking for stormproof matches, I suggest at least looking into these. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
