slingshot bow!!!!

How many of you have heard of a slingshot bow before? Well I have and I thought it would be excellent to have as a primary weapon. It is really quiet and you can make the ammo (I.E.) the arrow easily, and don't forget you need to be very quiet and this will help you. Comments, concerns, or question please share. P.S. If i forgot anything please add on. Do you find this valuable?

EDIT: I personally would not use this as a primary weapon of defense, possibly as a first strike silent kill for a sentry or something along those lines, small to medium game hunting weapon most likely Do you find this valuable?

this is were i got the idea and i also wanted an alternative to having to carry all that ammo and easy and light. Do you find this valuable?

Well you still have to carry arrows.

Like slowride has said, good small to medium game hunting weapon, probably would not use it as your primary ranged weapon. Maybe as a backup to your primary?

Can you still shoot rocks and balls from the pocket hunter? Or is it a dedicated arrow launcher? Do you find this valuable?

Yes you can, 3/8 steel bearings work quite well too Do you find this valuable?

yeah, there was a guy who went through a lot of permits and red tape, but at the end legally took down a bear with one of these.

I personally wouldn't use it for anything bigger than about 100lbs, Nice thing about these becoming more popular is that you can buy pouches with an arrow nook, and with bow release loops. Do you find this valuable?

There are crossbows that fire bolts and ball bearings, I will have to get the web site later. I have to go and get a belt for my lawn mower. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Anywhere else you can get a kit for these? I personally use slingshots, and this would really up the ante on the firepower. Do you find this valuable?

I've seen his home built one (Not sure, but I think he does the same thing with his "For Sale" ones too) where he took a "biscuit" from an arrow rest and zip tied it onto the "V" supports, you can flip it down to shoot rocks and bearing Do you find this valuable?

yes i have i spent 3 month in the summer almost doing nothing more that this activity bec this weapon would be very useful for more than just zombies Do you find this valuable?

Were they good arrows? Like accurate etc.

Most people say they would make arrows but have never done it Do you find this valuable?

for about 2.5 months i could not get them to do well but the last.5 of the moth they started to hit the middle of the target about 99.9% of the time.
 Do you find this valuable?

ya but it was a lot of work and it made my mom mad that she had to clean anything i got for the days hunt but i can tell u we did not go to the store for sometime
