Scenarios anyone?
Jun 20 2012, 8:02 AM EDT | Post edited: Jun 20 2012, 8:02 AM EDT
I just thought I'd have some fun and post a scenario thread, to test experience and common sense while dealing with zombies and Z-day.
Here are the rules:
1. You can take on any scenario you'd like, or if your creative post your own for others to handle.
2. You can comment on how anyone handled a scenario comments or constructive criticism please no flaming or ridiculing.
3. My scenarios will just involve basic zombies who shuffle around until meat appears and then run like crazy. Kinda like in the walking dead but you can specify in the scenario
4 Just have fun and see how other users rate you

Alright, Z-day is here, your small suburban community is being turned upside down right now by zed and terrified families fleeing for their lives. You are at a friends house across the way. At your house you have a 72 hour BOB and a AR 15. Your friend has not prepared quite so readily and begs you to help him find his mom who is somewhere in town. There are Zed in the front of the house but the gated fence has kept all zed out of the back.bwhat do you do?
Zed type: basic shamblers, must destroy the brain or remove the head, think Shawn of the dead.
Equipment: blue jeans, basic tee shirt, your wits, a clueless scare survivor, anything found in a normal household. (sorry no armories in normal households)
Military response: None
Population resistance: none (fleeing)
Zed density: moderate

I'd make sure the windows are covered, not leave the house, lock doors and put up barriers, fill containers and bath with water.

Wait until the road is pretty much empty before making attempts on crossing the road.

bar up the door/windows arm me and my friend with a baseball bat and a nice club-like broken chair leg (thats in a normal household right?) get 2 backpacks fill them with water/food anything else that your friend wants to take (family photos, stuff like that) get a kitchen knife each and go and look for his mum (if he was in my situation then i'd want him to help me) when we find mum (hopefully) then we give her one of the knives and set off for my place.

I want to try my hand at one of these forgive me if it sucks: you are at your local baseball pitch playing baseball, suddenly a car crashes into the fence surrounding the pitch and a woman runs out screaming, suddenly she is pinned down by a group of zeds, (you have no idea where they came from you were watching the crash) suddenly there are zeds closing on the pitch,
you have a baseball team of 5 people plus the coach:
your coach a short man who is kinda fit
the two sporty guys on your team, fit and strong
you, have some survival skills (from this website)
a fat guy: unfit but strong
a shy short guy, not that strong but alright at baseball
you have: a sports shed with assorted hockey sticks, baseball bats stuff like that
a couple of vending machines full of food and water, you and the two sporty guys bags,
you need to get back to your house which is the closest to the pitch but it's still about 2 km's away
what do you do?

I suppose the baseball pitch would supply all of us with handy dandy skull crushers (aka baseball bats) so I'd make a beeline for te Zed baits car if it was totaled I would forget all food in the vending machines and make sort of a phalanx position all the way to my house if the car wasnt totaled id just snatch that stuff and drive on home. Preparing my stuff there and then going with the friends that helped me get to my house to their house (if close by) if not I'd just hang out on my roof until the street cleared and I could run around freer
