As for this scenario, I think my strategic outlook seems to be increasingly vindicated by the escalation of events. Got damn lucky with the camera thing though, I was half tempted to say investigate the place further, but the guards near enough the room in question put me off.

222. RE: Sorry for this

I've only just now come across this scenario, and I've just finished reading the whole thread from front to back. Given the initial premise, I gotta say that I'd be only of the ones who just packed up and left early on. The scenario has taken some pretty sick and twisted turns along the way, but I'd have put this whole place in my rear view and been way over the horizon long before it ever got that far. I'd rather that my wife and I take our chances alone, even if that meant the possibility of running out of supplies and dying, rather than ending up either involved in or a victim of whatever these whack jobs are up to. Having said all that, just for purposes of playing along, I'd be playing the long game in the hopes of eventually poisoning or blowing up the whole damn place, or at least the doc and the higher ups that support him. Given that I have now made myself a "trusted" member of the operation, I would have my wife depart the colony, sending her to safety a couple of weeks beforehand if possible. If anyone questions her leaving, I'd just say that while I love her dearly (clearly implying that I would tolerate no action taken against her, which should be unnecessary if she just wants to leave in peace), she would have no stomach for this sort of thing, so I didn't want her hanging around to screw things up for me. We were on the road looking for her parents anyway, and I'd always hated my in-laws anyway, so I'd told her that she should just go on without me. Then I'd try to find some way of getting myself out alive after taking out the doc, but if not then not, my wife would understand that I couldn't let him carry on this sort of barbaric work unchallenged. I am called White Knight for a reason. LOL Do you find this valuable? |

We're either here to help you or kill you. Your call." *They both stand* "We go as a group. No one goes alone." Do you find this valuable? |

""We go as a group. No one goes alone."""I'll be one of those out there?" *Raises eyebrows* "I didn't realise you'd been lugging around a box for me too. I'm touched." *Walks to the window and looks out* "Whilst I appreciate the 'no-one goes alone' philosophy, I'd rather only show one of us for a few reasone. Firstly, we keep the element of surprise if there's anything waiting Secondly, and related, if something does go wrong, there will still be you two to either try again, or report the failure of the attempt. I know that the reason you don't want me going out there alone is because Ishii has given orders not to let me run off somewhere, but even if you two are staying back, that means one can be watching your surroundings and mine, and the other can have his rifle trained on my back." *Shrugs* "Come along if you want, but that was my reasoning for asking." *Walks toward the entrance of the building, pauses, and looks over shoulder at them* "And I'd appreciate it if you helped me instead of killing me. What call did you expect me to make?" Do you find this valuable? |

*Alex thinks for a minute* "John take up a post that lets you watch us on our way to the bait then radio back. We'll move at your word. Keep us covered. Better?" Do you find this valuable? |

[Better :)]"Glad to know that you're not those 'I've been in the military, you're a civilian, therefore you cannot know anything important' types. Seems like Ishii has his head screwed on straight when it comes to personnel." *Walks outside* [This post is short because I'd ideally like a description of the scene outside so I can react accordingly, as my idea of the scene may be different to the GM's. And please no 'You step outside and about a thousand pairs of zombified eyes turn to face you' if it can be avoided, thanks] Do you find this valuable? |

~Sorry for a lack of responses. Been under the weather and dog tired for the past couple days.~You all posted up in a three story building in order to get a view of the intersections at the ends of the street where the bait is. The location was picked because if the worst case scenario happens and you do draw more than you can handle it will be easy to escape in the truck. Most of the other buildings are two story buildings. Some intact but some not. The buildings appear to have had people attempt to build a shelter there as there is a walkway across the rooftops. Alex has assured you though that the occupants are no longer an issue. The roads here have been cleared somewhat which allows you to drive there. The bait are positioned at intersections to give better odds of drawing attention. Need more? Do you find this valuable? |

"~Sorry for a lack of responses. Been under the weather and dog tired for the past couple days.~Entire post OOC: Don't worry, this so-called "IRL" gets in the way of me too ;) As far as needing more, have there been any attempts at the bait? Can I see zeds -I don't need to know if they're hiding, but if I can see any, I'd like to be able to build a mental picture of what I'm looking at. Thanks, great thread so far. WK, of course it does. If I explain my reasoning to people, they tend to be a lot more agreeable than if I just say "go here, do this, don't ask why" Do you find this valuable? |

No. They've only been out for a few hours and at this point in time the hordes of Zs seen in the beginning of the breakdown are no longer present.Their numbers are really only noticable in population centers like this one. Do you find this valuable? |

I apologise for my lack of activity on this thread. ATM, work's piling up, and inspiration has abandoned me. I'll probably have something good by saturday, if not before, as my ideas have an annoying tendency to strike right in the middle of activities when I cannot record them, such as my youth work -_-
