Eh....for $230, ain't worth it, I'd rather have a different stock. Something like a Tapco Tactical Trainer.

I'd want to see what the tolerances are first. There would have to be enough play for the barrel to be free-floated. I'd also want to examine their mechanism for the action being moved forward. A shoddy action could kill your trigger pull. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Other than having a conversion for another weapon in .22lr, I am not a fan of that little rimfire as a defensive weapon.

If you want to make the 10/22 a better firearm, go with the Hogue Overmolded stock. While it lacks the glamor of the bullpup or other "tactical" add-ons, it does provide better gripping in wet conditions. It also accepts the heavier barrels, if you want a better target shooter.

They even make it in pink, for Sharpie. ;)

the idea is to get the weapon hella shorter. personally though, i wish it were upscaled for a intermediate cartridge rifle.

but then they'd charge alot more.
Still, what he has done to make that kit isa solid idea for other guns

I agree. Even though I don't own a 10/22, and probably never will, I like it even as a proof of concept. What can be done with one firearm can be done with another. Now if they scaled it WAY up and made one for pretty much any semiauto .308 rifle, I'd buy two. LOL

That's the route I went. There are a ton of aftermarket stocks for the 10/22 you just gotta find the one that fits you best.

Rugers are a blast to pimp out.
