My Primary Plan (plan A-1)

Assuming everything is perfect when the apocalypse occurs (I am at my home, All my weapons are in perfect working order, it is good weather, the apocalypse does not start in my neighborhood, etc...) I will bar the solid steel walls around my house, hit the charge button on the solar array, unplug the well, make sure the garden is watered, make sure my guns are all working, make sure i still have my 1000's of rounds for each (a colt 45 handgun, an M-16 AR, a combat-ready Katana, A survival knife, a recurve bow i am a true expert with.) I go outside and take some shots with the bow, and then go tend to my garden, harvest some more wheat, grind it into flour, and make some pizza for dinner (hey, the cheese won't last forever!) and watch TV until i fall asleep and repeat for the rest of my life. (i am insanely well prepared) 1  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

Hello, and welcome to the site.

Would you please provide a picture of the solid steel walls around your house? And possibly your gear as well?

Also, I wouldn't say that falling asleep in front of the TV factors well into being "insanely well-prepared." Neither, for that matter, does only having two guns and no mention of stored water.

Cheese is aged so it lasts quite a long time when it is propperly stored and prepared. LOL I couldn't resist

This sounds like an interesting scenario for a videogame but a death trap for a survivalist.

Katanas are over rated blades, they may have a mythic following and look pritty but a short sword would be more useful. The Katana really is only an effective weapon in the confines of bushido, the mongal invasions of japan showed it's weakness against massed attackers.

Congrats on being well prepared.

You don't harvest wheat year round or even grind it stait to flour. You have to shuck/husk it first.
Oh by the way where you gonna get all that yeast for making bread and or pizza crusts with?

As for a "combat-ready katana".
Explain to us the diffence between "combat-ready" and "not combat-ready" katana or any other bladed weapon.
So I can go check my bladed weapons.
Just hate to have my blades "non combat-ready" when I need them in combat.

Wouldn't it be weird if he came back and showed us all of this sh!t through pics, I mean it will never happen, but it would be nice to be proving wrong when it comes to trolls every once in a while. Oh, and if this is Max Brooks tell your dad that Blazing Saddles is one of the funniest movies ever made. Do you find this valuable?

Thank you demsmine. I literally laughed out loud for a couple of minutes, thinking about everyone getting proved wrong by him showing all of this stuff.

Legitimately, thank you for that funny thought :D
