As for a "combat-ready katana".
Explain to us the diffence between "combat-ready" and "not combat-ready" katana or any other bladed weapon.
So I can go check my bladed weapons.
Just hate to have my blades "non combat-ready" when I need them in combat."

I go outside and take some shots with the bow, and then go tend to my garden, harvest some more wheat, grind it into flour, and make some pizza for dinner (hey, the cheese won't last forever!) and watch TV until i fall asleep and repeat for the rest of my life.
