I'm staying home no matter what , during the apocalypse, because i don't wan't to put lives on the line , however, should a zombie break in to my home, i got a bolt action 20 gauge shotgun, a sccy cpx 2 9mm handgun, a walther p22 pistol, a bolt action .22lr, a mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun, a .410 bore shotgun, and a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun, and all these guns are readily available for zombie killing. I also got a medicine cabinet full of medicine, a full face respirator, months to years worth of food, and hundreds and even thousands of rounds for each gun i have. and assuming i get this gun before it begins i will also have a ruger 10/22, because i plan on getting it soon, and darkness please i've watched tons of horror movies darkness doesn't scare me. Feel free to comment if i missed something and i will let you know if i have this item you say i don't have or what. happy hunting. Do you find this valuable?

I would recommend getting a larger caliber rifle to add to you collection for use on hostile humans over 100 yards.
A good option would be a Moison Nagant. They can be bought for around 100 hundred dollars. The round it uses is the 7.62x54r whitch is ballisticly similar to a 30-06. Surplus ammunition runs for about 7$ for 20 rounds. Just make sure the barrel is cleaned very well after shooting surplus ammo.

I'd add a water filtration setup and lots of water (bottled, collected, rainwater tank, etc.) Also do you have a way of cooking your food supply? I'm currently working on cooking methods post Day-Z.
