Military or hazmat teams
Aug 10 2012, 1:18 AM EDT | Post edited: Aug 10 2012, 1:18 AM EDT
If you see military or hazmat personal mowing down people stay away they will round you up into a line with others and they might kill you you might have two enemies to kill. Find a cop they will not kill you but they will ask if you've been bitten. If a cop sees military personal killing un-bitten civilians he will probably fight with you. If you get the trust of a marine make sure he is a medic you will need his help. 6  out of 16 found this valuable. Do you?

So you can't trust the military or hazmat, but you can trust a cop or a marine???...where does one even start with this...where is shadowmancer when you need him?...lol

Wait..... can you see the future? How do you know these things?!?!?! Are you a fortune teller? THIS THREAD IS AMAZING! Thank god I found it, I might have actually tried to make friends with the nice men wearing hazmat suits who were "Mowing people down".

Hahahaha, we definitely need Shadow to decipher this thread!

How do you know the cop isn't in on it too? Bang shot to your head. End of story.

A Marine is the "military".
And in a zombie and or SHTF scenario the Marines will be busy with more important things like killing zombies and or restoring order.
Plus why would a Marine medic be by himself instead of with his unit doing his job?

Finally you think a cop with a pistol and shotgun is going to take on the military?
More than likely he will be busy at home protecting the wife and kids.
Or shooting zombies too.

You have seen too many movies lol

Shadow we need your help.

Way too many movies.

(1) Hazmat would likely be fire, ems, rescue - unless you live in south Atlanta near the CDC or someplace like New York who has hazmat teams.

Note that those hazmat teams are universally unarmed - since you would have to be armed outside the suit - and most "hazmat" people are not in true suit - only protective clothing.

(2) The military will not be lining up people to shoot them. If medical personal want you dead they would do it with an injection of "antibiotics" (morphine OD).

(3) If Katrina is a good guide, half or more cops will just go home - they are under no legal requirement to stay on the job, protect you, or risk their life EVER. They might get fired later, but they have all the freedom to call out and go home that you do. So, unless you plan to watch the deep fryer timer so you can pull out the fries on time while zombies are chewing on your shift manager, don't expect a cop to do the same.

(3) You need a marine medic? Why? Would a normal marine not be useful? Would a normal medic not do? Why are you looking for people to take care of you (cops, marine medics, etc)?

Since i am a "marine medic" I guess I should feel honored that he trust me. It will make it easier to mow him down with the rest of the civilians I mow down everyday. 8  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

I have a feeling you new right ahhh don't worry you'll figure it out.

hey how about instead of trolling the dud lets help him :P

I think when he is reffering to marine he is also talking about any branch.

dud look just completely forget about that idea and move on.

this is not something to worry there's no way the military would do that. but if the military does try to kill civilians which there's a 1% chance they will probably do it a different way like saturated bombing of cities (not the prettiest thought but probably more likely then a holocaust like event) :P

i'm pretty shore hazmats aren't even a military unit and aren't armed :)

cops are just civilians like you or me they will probably doing other things a little more important :P

ow and don't jinx it I honestly don't want will77 lining me up against a wall and putting a bullet in my head :P

1) Marines do not have medics that is the army. The navy has Corpsmen who are deployed with Marine units.

2) I dont care if it is the good humor man mowing down people I am not going anywhere near them.

I don't know if the HAZMAT people in my state are LEO. They appear to be more in line with fire and rescue. I could be wrong. They might indeed be part of DNREC which is LEO. How does one operate a minigun in a Level A suit anyway?

Thanks for explaining about Corpsman. I get tired of trying to tell people how that works and I've had people argue with me about it.

It may be different in were you are but in most countries "HAZMAT personnel" are deployed alongside military units not as military units. HAZMAT - or as they are often known as "bio-logical response teams" - deal with investigating, assessing and dealing with the hazard. The military would just deal with containing the situation. Also why trust particularly a marine or a cop even more than than the others, they are all controlled by the government and their jobs are basically the same, to protect civilians and as a member of an armed force I find it highly disrespectful that you think that we would line up civilians and mow them down simply because they carry an infection. They'd be quarantined - and I mean humanely quarantined not the "let's stick behind a chain linked fence with barbed wire at the top and take pot shots and anyone who tries to get out- until a cure is found. If nothing can be done then individuals would be humanely euthanised (how they do this I know bugger all about but we'll just leave that to medical staff) Do you find this valuable?

Um i don't even understand "WHY" you would be going near hazmat personnel in the field to start with

lets see now all that protective equipment isn't just for looks is it?

If i see any one mowing any one down i sure as hell am not going to try and start a conversation with them and exchange phone numbers

I guess what he was really trying to say is if the military starts to shoot civilians in the streets your going to have a bad day
