Good plan, yet still some problems...

Everything seems to be planned down to the last detail except for one thing... Energy sources. I know you mentioned a gas station but isn't a sustainable solution. You will need some form of light, fuel, heating right? If you can survive the zombies without any lighting systems, that's fine, but you won't survive raiders/desperate survivors. They could easily break into your compound in the cover of darkness. Do you find this valuable?

Stirling Engine Generator or Vertical WInd Generators.... Have the Latter supplementing my house.
