Not really jealous or disappointed if the US doesn't have the MP7.

And HK needs to be less lawyer-whipped and just import what they can. Or just build it here in there HKUSA branch?

I'll say it again.

"I" (Meaning me) do not like SA/DA triggers.

So of course it's a personal issue.

And I know, my dad almost bought one. It was also used in the Boondock Saints as stand ins for their berettas.

Cav: Yeah, $11,000 for the gun. $35 for 50 rounds of 4.7......that sucks for what is nothing more than a glorified, reloadable .17 HMR.

"You can still pick up a good Sig for about the price of a new Glock. Start checking your local pawn shops. I got my latest 226 for 450$ It's not nearly as pretty as my 700$ one, but internally it's near new. "
I just found an Ex Swiss P226 for $795 from the same place that I bought my Mosin Nagant.

"Top Ten Weapons
Totals
Rifle 12
Shotgun 13
Pistol 11
Melee 11

No big deal......just saying. lol"
Yeah. I was originally going to just have ties listed one after another (e.g. 4. Hatchet-20 votes. 5- Machete, 20 votes.) But, doing so would have edged some out of the top ten that had recieved the same amount of votes. Didn't seem fair to me.

"The 941 is about like the 92fs, but the Sig is better. Although Sig also has SAO models that have a better pull than the DA/SA or the DAK.

And we can't have an MP7 in the US either bc they never made it until post-1986."
SAO? I think you mean SA. And SA/DA is just DA. I don't know what DAK is. Probably just meant DAO.

H&K will have to make a MPC7, and then tell bits for people to convert them. Or just import it in a pistol semi-a configuration.

Double Action Kellerman.

Very light DA trigger pull I think.

I meant this: http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p220-sao.aspx

Sig calls their single actions SAO to distinguish them from DA/SA.

But sharpie is correct on kellerman. I promise I don't invent acronyms. I used to work closely with Sig reps so I'm quite familiar with their terminology.

I agree with it for the most part, I think the 1st and 2nd place weapons in each category are fairly even. I prefer the AK over AR and Glock over 1911 Do you find this valuable?

I've actually looked at the PT92 before. I actually like some of the ergonomics on the Berretta, such as the plentiful grip. But I've always hated DA/SA triggers and slide mounted safeties (I think that's one of the dumbest places to put a safety). Since the PT92 can be carried cocked and locked like a 1911 and has a frame mounted safety I might actually like one. I hear they'll fit in a lot of Berretta holsters as well.
If I ever want to get a metal framed 9mm I'll probably give it a look. I'm pretty satisfied with my Glock 19 though, but variety is the spice of life.

about time the AR was first i was getting annoyed by that I think it would be cool if you cut it down into smaller catigories like a top ten AR styles and Top ten aK styles for the top three in each catigory.

Huh?

Why would you have top ten styles for each style of gun?

why didn't you make a special section for Revolvers and Sniper Rifles?
My favorite of these too would be The Python 633 Mamgnum
and the Ruger M77 Hawkeye Bolt-Action Rifle

Pardon? What is that exactly?

And, to me, sniper rifles and revolvers fit underneath the "rifle" and "handgun" categories, respectively.

It's just a conversation starter about the preferred weapons of the members of the site.
