i heard you can sound proof by putting matresses against walls. It would take time but you should still
hear your barricade.

But where would you be able toget enough mattresses in a short time. If you holed up in a hotel, with adequiet supplies, that option might apply.I would go with foam egg crate for soundproffing, its easy to obtain and apply. Do you find this valuable?

i think the whole fact that there's what could be thousands upon thousands of people outside a door trying to kill you is enough to keep some people anxious enough for a few days with out without the droning noises. i'm still on the fence with how i'd deal with this. i mean, it's something that's gotta be done -- but i still think i'd be a bit anxious to sleep for a while; a long while. Being anxious for the first several days of an outbreak is to be expected, but eventually, the body will take over, and decide its time for some sleep.Thats why I believe that bugging out at the first opportunity will the best option. Eventually, survivors will need a safe area to begin rebuilding. Holing up in your little city apartment will only hasten the inevitable, becoming one of "Them". Do you find this valuable?
