decay

Holding out for 2 weeks hoping for decay to take care of the zombies should be taken very cautiously. Some have speculated that In addition to lack of pain, loss of some senses and the heightening of other senses that the zombie virus also slows down decomposition to a rate so minimal that it would take months or even years for decay to slow or completely stop a zombie from functioning.

how would it slow down decomposition? Just because they dont feel the decomp doesent mean its not happeing. I do believe though that waiting two weeks for them to decompose is too short, if you are only holding out that long youre out of luck.

"how would it slow down decomposition?" Ok...I see what you are saying....but the freaking dead are walking...so in a world were the dead are walking who knows what the decomposition rate will be. All i am saying is don't take the chance, prepare for the long haul...that way if they all decompose in two weeks then cool, but if they don't you are ready. It all really boils down to being prepared for what ever may come....on a side note i have enjoyed several of your comments on the various pages

the established concept is that the same cause of the zombisim makes them poisonous even to most bacteria and other decomposers, but i think that just the walking around constantly and the chasing after food and the fighting would reduce most of the zombie population to the ground within a year or two, without the body trying to rebuild the muscles injured, the legs would just give out after continual walking/shambling
