I would like to fist of all say that you made a very good article, well written and full of insight. Thanks!

I also agree that it would be the best idea to get out of the cities as soon as possible, for a good reason: Even the zombie master himself, George A. Romero, states in his movies (not directly, but it is shown), that the rural areas are able to handle the zombie situation well, with the rural areas becoming safe and secure very quickly. This is not only because of the space and distance that make the zombies advantage of number dissipate, but also that there is a lot more long-term prospect in being able to secure the landscape (farms, etc.). I also feel that the rural areas are quicker to secure because people that live in the rural area would be able to handle themselves better than people from urban areas. This could range from outdoor and survival experience to the simple fact that they own a gun and live in a remote area.
