Fighting from a vehicle is favored in many zombie movies like the new resident evil, but I dont think it would be very knowledgeble becuase like Nosfera2 said gas isnt unlimited. Also if they start jumping down on you from buildings your gonna need to shoot them pretty fast because there going to catch you reloading and that aint gonna be pretty. Also if you get into an accident whats your back up plan? Run like hell? I would put a C4 under that thing because you auta kill as many as you can because theres no way your gonna last plus if your injured from the crash im pretty sure they can walk as fast as you can with two broken legs.

I sit here and read others ideas of raiding abandoned military bases and getting fuel from other cars and petrol stations. I wonder if some really think about what that would involve.
1) Military bases don't just have crates of weapons, ammo and explosives sitting on palates with a big red bow in the motor pool. They are secured in vaults within the building. Unless you have the two keys, combination and digital access code you are going to need a tank to get into that sucker. I know this from seeing the security personally. And lets say you somehow managed to blast the door open you would most likely:
-Demolish the building
-Damage various components of the weapons inside
-Turn the ammo inside into slag

2) To raid a base it would have to have been over-run. Which means Zack and all his friends are everywhere. Good luck dealing with the shear number of Zeds that would mean, along with finding the vault/armoury. Toying with the idea that the military simply bugged out and for whatever reason left the site in one piece, the weapons and ammo would be gone. Weapons and ammo would have been issued, and whatever was left would have either been taken with or destroyed. Standard practice.

3) Getting fuel from a vehicle takes time if just using lungs and a hose. A station requires equipment. Both require time. How do you plan on getting enough fuel, dealing with Zack and keeping an eye out for other threats all while on foot? I would be nervous about sitting out in the open for the amount of time it would take to syphon petrol, also dealing with the Zeds on scene would doubtlessly draw the attention of Zacks friends.

I have a couple of questions regarding the M1A1.
A. The bio on the M1A1 mentions siphoning the fuel out of it's tanks, but the fuel is listed as jet fuel. What would happen if you used jet fuel in a gas or diesel engine? I imagine it would run for about three cycles and then blow a hole in each and every piston if not the cylinder walls.
B. If the M1A1 does run on jet fuel, wouldn't that make it a fairly sensible choice. Even though it's mileage is terrible, the # of vehicles that run on jet fuel would likely be reduced to a fraction of what they are now, opening up largely untapped reserves of jet fuel that other people would ignore. Essentially, you could just run onto an airport runway, fill up, and your good to go. No invading small towns for gas stations, no siphoning out of wrecked cars, and no fighting over tankers.

so if ur bitten anywhere i GUARANTEE you have 5 SECONDS AT MOST before it enters an organ, in which case you are naffed because it will be going all around you infecting all your blood while it passes through the organ until it reaches your brain, a rough average of 22 - 30 seconds after your bitten.

to summarise
3-10 seconds to amputate a limb
20 - 30 to ampuatate at the neck in which case makes no diffrence to killing urself.

Hey i did some research, and i think its funny hows everybody and their brother is flipping out because the whole mayans calender ending at 2012. truth is that the mayans have two cycles: a short cycle (our basic year) and a long cycle, the mayans with all their advanced astronomy predicted what is pretty much a glorified eclipse and decided to end their long cycle of that date (dec 2012) once that day is up, and weve all made resolutions and sipped champagne, the next long cycle comes up. they just didnt bother to put the next one in the calendar i imagine.

so its not the end of the world, just a eclipse thats been awaited for a couple thousand years
